(Nasdaq: FNKO), a leading pop culture lifestyle brand, is proud to announce the appointment of Glenn Abell as Senior Vice President of Sales for the U.S. and Canada, effective February 24, 2025. Abell brings more than two decades of experience in the global toy and collectibles industry, having previously held senior leadership roles at Mattel, Moose Toys, and The LEGO Group.

In his new role, Abell will oversee Funko’s sales organization, driving strategy, execution, and growth across wholesale and specialty sales channels. Prior to joining Funko, Abell most recently served as General Manager and Global Head of the building sets category at Mattel. He previously held leadership positions at Moose Toys as U.S. General Manager and spent 16 years at The LEGO Group in various sales, marketing, e-commerce, and general management roles across the U.S., Canada, Australia, and the UK. Abell also has extensive board experience, most recently serving on the Board of Trustees for the Toy Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Toy Industry Association in the US, and as an advisor for various organizations in the toy and e-sports industries.
