CLIF BAR’s multi-year partnership with the Boston Athletic Association® will help support athletes
as they raise their bar and push past barriers to achieve new levels of performance
EMERYVILLE, Calif. , March 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Boston Athletic Association® (B.A.A.) announced today that CLIF BAR, known for providing sustained energy to help fuel performance, will serve as the Official Energy Bar of the Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America. Kicking off the three-year partnership in the lead-up to this year’s 129th Boston Marathon, CLIF BAR has donated ten race bibs numbers to runners who came within 10 seconds of this year’s qualifier cut-off time, furthering the brand’s commitment to helping athletes push through adversity and raise their bar.
From April 17-22—before and during the marathon—CLIF BAR will be activating its first-ever Energy Bar, aptly named The CLIF Bar. Just steps from the finish line at Rosebar Boston, 47 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02116, The CLIF Bar will be the all-inclusive destination for all runners’ needs, with exclusive merchandise and inspiring community programming – including guided runs, recovery support, race day fuel, bespoke events and good vibes throughout the week.

In addition to The CLIF Bar for Boston runners, CLIF BAR is encouraging runners nationwide to join in the excitement and spirit leading up to the Boston Marathon with a national Raise Your Bar Challenge on Strava, the app for active people, happening March 21-April 21 that will unlock rewards for participants. CLIF BAR will be at the Bank of America Boston Marathon Expo, April 18-20, at the Hynes Convention Center, providing fuel to help runners prepare for race day.
