Oshkosh Corporation Named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for Sixth Consecutive Year

OSHKOSH, Wis.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–
Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK), a leading innovator of purpose-built vehicles and equipment, has been named to the 2024 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World), in recognition of the company’s commitment to sustainable business practices. This is the sixth consecutive year Oshkosh has achieved this esteemed designation.

The Dow Jones Sustainability World Index comprises global sustainability leaders as identified by S&P Global through the Corporate Sustainability Assessment. It represents the top 10% of the largest 2,500 companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index based on long-term economic, environmental and social criteria.

“At Oshkosh, sustainability begins with putting people first—our team members, the communities we serve and the everyday heroes who count on our products to protect, support and serve,” said Kevin Tubbs, vice president, chief environmental and sustainability officer, Oshkosh Corporation. “Our recognition on the DJSI reflects the unwavering commitment of our 18,000+ team members who live our values every day. Together, we are driving meaningful change, fostering resilience and building a future where people and innovation thrive.”

The DJSI was launched in 1999 as the pioneering series of global sustainability benchmarks available in the market. The index family is comprised of global, regional and country benchmarks.

Oshkosh continuously looks for ways to lower the environmental impact and carbon footprint of its products, while enhancing safety, quality, efficiency and reliability. Earlier this year, Oshkosh announced the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) had validated its science-based greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets. These targets meet the rigorous criteria and recommendations set by SBTi, confirming Oshkosh’s commitment to aligning its sustainability efforts with the latest climate science.
